How long does a typical migration take?
It depends on scope, but a wave-based migration for an SMB typically takes between 6 and 12 weeks, from the Migration Readiness Assessment to the final cutover.
Will there be downtime?
We minimize it as much as possible. For databases, we use AWS DMS with continuous replication (CDC), which keeps the source active until the final cutover with a very short cut window.
Can we migrate in phases?
Yes — this is the approach we recommend. We migrate in waves based on criticality and dependencies, validating each wave before moving to the next.
